THE DEAR JOHN MICHAEL FOUNDATION
Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a fatal, genetic muscle wasting disease that is primarily found in boys. Children affected by Duchenne are usually wheelchair bound by the age of 12. The progressive muscle weakness in the body leads to serious medical complications relating to the heart and lungs. Young men typically live into their early twenties. There is currently no cure or treatment for this disease.
The Dear John Michael Foundation was created by some of John Michael’s biggest fans. It is our mission to raise awareness and find a cure for this devastating disease. The money we raise will help fund research and accelerate drug development. The more money we can raise, the closer we are to treatment and ultimately a cure.
THE TOUCHDOWN CLUB OF DALLAS
The TouchDown Club of Dallas, a non-profit organization benefitting the YMCA Rise School of Dallas.
Established in 1998, The TouchDown Club of Dallas (“TDC”) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of like-minded men working together to raise charitable donations and contributions through various annual events that directly benefit the YMCA Rise School of Dallas. The mission of TDC is to provide financial, volunteer, and advisory support to the YMCA Rise School of Dallas, its students and their families. Recently relocated to the newly constructed Moody Family YMCA located in the Park Cities, the YMCA Rise School of Dallas is an early childhood education program for children ages 6 months to 6 years with developmental disabilities like Down syndrome.
ELIZABETH TOON CHARITIES
Elizabeth Toon Charities is a Christian-based 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to serving children in need and their families throughout Texas. The organization was inspired by the faith, hope and love of Elizabeth Toon.
Elizabeth Toon Charities is founded on the principles of faith, hope and love. We support organizations that provide education, assistance, comfort and therapy to those who have been impacted by abuse, grief, poverty, disabilities and terminal illnesses. We are committed to being good stewards of our funds to make the greatest impact on the people, organizations and communities we support. We are a Christian-based, non-profit organization that appeals to young adults and companies that are passionate about helping children in need. We strive to build long-term relationships with the donors, volunteers, members and partners who support Elizabeth Toon Charities and aim to instill a love-centered philosophy in the lives that we touch.
WE ARE IN BLOOM
We Are In Bloom is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is focused in Northern Thailand. We Are In Bloom focuses on Thai women who are not highly valued within the Thai society and those who have the desire to help support their families. The women are taught valuable skills such as sewing or jewelry making, all while building relationships and sharing about Jesus. The handmade products are marketed and sold in the U.S.
The mission and goal for We Are In Bloom revolves around touching the lives of Thai women, empowering them through meaningful jobs with honest pay, and support through Christian relationships. 100% of all profits from sales go towards furthering the ministry.
